Because the units are on a hill it’s lovely and breezy during the hot humid days and nights. It’s well equipped with everything you need for the stay.

We loved everything about our stay. The island, the people, the scenery, and we absolutely loved our self contained cottage at Whispering Pines, set in a picturesque location. Fiona, the co-owner, collected us from the airport and took us on a guided tour of all the main facilities available that we might need during our stay in Burnt Pine. She then drove us to our accommodation and had our rental car waiting there for us. We had every comfort and amenity at our disposal in our cottage. We often ate out but on occasion we cooked in our fully equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfortable and the pillows and bed linen add a luxurious touch. We could not have asked for more. The living/dining area is comfortable, and the matching bathrooms leading off each bedroom are large, with a great shower. All in all we really couldn't fault our stay on your beautiful island, but we did endure a couple of noticeably cooler winter nights, so if I could make a suggestion as opposed to a criticism (because it isn't a major issue), a more powerful gas heater would have been a welcome addition. Thankyou to Fiona and her husband for a wonderful stay. Your island is hauntingly beautiful and totally unforgettable.
