2nd visit to this accommodation as our grandchildren loved it so much previously. Sadly the property has not improved since our last stay, still a little tired in places and very much needing a good spring clean. Bathroom floor still water damaged and carpet badly stained by the leaking fridge. Good breakfast cooked fresh to order with a nice continental option. Lovely views overlooking the lake watching the ducklings but dining area needs de-cluttering and a good tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Such a shame as it has great potential, hoping the issues mentioned can be rectified.

Me and my daughter stayed here and loved it.its clean cozy and very modern. Being on the waterfront only added to everything. Will come again.

We stayed in the 3 bed room which was actually a 2 bedroom apartment. Brilliant value for money. Lovely deck and a welcome from the ducklings! Superb beds and bathroom with lovely fluffy towels. The only down was some of us were a bit cold in bed and could have done with some extra covers.

Lovely place to stay definitely better than expected. High tech rooms and lots of space, loved the animals and even got to feed them. The staff were very nice and attentive and even got complimentary breakfast hot and continental. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back, enjoyed the walk round the lake but spending time with the animals was my highlight

The accommodation was lovely but the complimentary breakfast was dreadful. The lodge was really nice and hi tech with Alexa controlled gadgets. They had a lovely little farm with a variety of animals which we really enjoyed…but parts of the complex was unkempt and needed some tlc

The lady on the reception desk was lovely she recommended some local lovely pubs to go to for food and they didn’t disappoint.Breakfast wasn’t the best a little cold and rushed.
