The people at Cheeky Monkey are wonderful. The driver, Jungle Guide, cook and aka the other people made me feel very welcome and made this a very nice trip. Thanks all 😊

We had a great time at Villa Cheeky Monkeys - the owners and all the staff are so friendly and enthusiastic, they’re like a big family. Food is amazing, we loved Chef Ellie‘s pancakes, the Nasi Goreng on the treks and a top notch Rendang! We stayed 4 nights and the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot 😚 we did the half day trek and then the sunrise trek the next day, Rian was so knowledgeable but also really personable, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We saw some amazing things, my favourite being the white handed Gibbon and big Alpha male Orangutan 🦧 luck us 🍀 Rian had help from Sarol on the first trek and he‘s a cheeky monkey in the truest sense - always smiling, joking and screaming and singing when we went tubing down the river - what a ride 😆 the second trek was assisted by Andre, who is cool as a cucumber and has a really nice singing voice :) special shoutout also to Tondi for getting us from and to the airport safely. Oh and puppy Daisy 🥰

Absolutely beautiful setting. There are so many nice things about this property, the decor, location (just a 2 minute walk from Cheeky Monkeys restaurant with amazing food and beautiful jungle and river views. The room with ensuite and door to the gardens and terrace was so peaceful and relaxing. Much needed after long travels. The staff are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble. So much to do. My third time trekking with the Cheeky Monkeys team - i highly recommend the adventure of an overnight trek. This time I went to the rice fields, swam in the river there were so many great trips these guys organised - thank you. Great WiFi for the jungle. Thank you so much..

What a beautiful setting! A little piece of luxury living in an exciting and peaceful jungle setting. Thank you to Agus, Sarah and their team of staff and especially Ellie the cook who gave us some of the tastiest food we have eaten on our travels around Indonesia. The trekking was amazing, well organised, fun and again the food the trekking guys made was delicious. Room was perfect, clean, peaceful with the little luxuries we needed after backpacking. Fun friendly team, we can't wait to come back. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you xx
