I had a wonderful stay at Nastarin b&b and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to visit Bukhara. The family were very kind, hospitable, helpful and incredibly accomodating. The communication was prompt and always appropriate to the questions I asked. My room was clean and had everything I needed - not a five star hotel, a local friendly family business offering a clean, spacious room with ensuite facilities. Huge and comfortable bed with a plug socket beside for easy charging for the phone. Excellent WiFi that concisely worked. The breakfast was hard to beat. I advised in advance I was vegetarian and a beautiful, different omelette was freshly prepared each morning. In addition a local porridge (I forget the name), local honey and homemade apricot jam with local bread. Ample tea and coffee. The location was perfect.... don't be put off by Google maps suggesting the b&b is a walk from the centre of Bukhara. Bukhara is a "long" city and the b&b is perfectly positioned at the start of the tourist route. Possible a 5 minute walk to a shop, a wine store, and a vibrant area with more shops, restaurants and attractions.
