Excellent value. Situated on quiet street in gentrified bohemian neighborhood of Palermo, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, site-seeing. Offers historic character and charm as well as on-site live jazz performances. Cost of room included breakfast (coffee, juice, toast, marmalade, butter, muffins, fresh fruit). Unfortunately, live jazz performances were not offered on two of the three nights that we were there and we were unable to attend the third date because of our dinner reservation; so we cannot comment on the music except to say that we spoke to an attendee who said that the music was good.

Bar de Fonde Suites - Our Experience The location of this hotel in Buenos Aires is truly great. For those who enjoy walking, it’s easy to reach key spots in the city. The proximity to public transport also makes it even more convenient. We were very happy with the location. The cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel were also very good. Our room was spacious and airy, which made our stay very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which was a big highlight for us. The bar downstairs was one of the most impressive aspects of the hotel. During our stay, we could hear the live music from our room, and it was truly captivating. The concept of the bar is great; being there and enjoying the music creates a real reason to stay and relax. Regarding breakfast, the items are stored in fridges and there are a variety of options available, including fruits. However, it’s not served as a traditional buffet. You prepare your own breakfast, which might be a bit of a different experience for those not used to it. After a long and tiring journey, this concept caught us a bit off guard. We noticed that this detail wasn’t mentioned in the reviews or the hotel’s description. As a result, we decided to cancel our breakfast package. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. If we were to visit Buenos Aires again, we would likely choose this hotel again. We would just take the breakfast concept into account next time.
