The room was a good size although up a short steep staircase. The breakfast was excellent if a little on the large size. The hotel itself was very tastefully decorated & clean, there seemed to be loads of staff who were all very polite & helpful.

The hotel was nice and it was very clean. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious but a little dated and tired although the beds were comfy. The bathrooms were very clean but reminded me of school bathrooms with the lino flooring! And for some reason you can’t drink the tap water. We eventually found the tea and coffee things in a random drawer. Our room had a nice view of the garden and the canal and we were super lucky with the weather. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious. There was a nice choice for hot food, and a good continental choice too. It was perfect for what we needed but wouldn’t say it was luxurious.

The room was exceptionally clean, and we had a great view of the garden. The location was perfect. Beautiful walks along the river leading to the beach. The breakfast was really nice, and staff were very polite. They explained how things worked and we were very well looked after.The setting for both dinning room and bar were beautiful. We had a bar meal, which was lovely. Again staff were lovely. The garden was beautiful. Staff on reception were very welcoming.
