Excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful Great shower Really good breakfast with gluten free options Excellent location for the park, balloon fly and thermal spas. Walkable into the city centre (20-45 mins depending on the bit you want to go to)

Good breakfast! However, just a suggestion to keep more choice for tea lovers. I am an Asian Indian and we love our black tea! Location was good as the sole purpose of visiting Hungary was for my daughter's graduation ceremony, which was held at a walkable distance from the hotel. Good connectivity to metro, bus, tram etc. so yes, loved Onyx!

The hotel is located in a slightly run-down area of the city. Good public transport links - trolley-bus stop only 3 minutes walk away, metro and mainline railway station within 10 minutes. Room slightly small but comfortable; spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good range of hot and cold food for breakfast. Excellent wi-fi.

A very clean place, in a quiet neighbourhood. Free parking in available on Sat and Sun on the street in front of the hotel. Also underground parking is offered for 14 Euro/night. Excellent wi-fi. Basic kitchenette in the appartment for those who prefer home cooking.

Hotel Review: Comfortable and Modern Stay in Budapest I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Budapest. While it’s a bit further from the city centre, it’s still within walking distance, making it a great option for those who prefer a quieter location without being too far from the main attractions. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze even though I arrived late at night. Everything was smooth and hassle-free, which was much appreciated after a long journey. One of the highlights was the breakfast—plentiful, fresh, and with a good variety to start the day right. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with comfortable accommodations, great service, and a convenient yet peaceful location. Would definitely stay again!
