Lovely quirky historical hotel in a walkable distance from all the main sights. Very polite, helpful staff. Food excellent; breakfast had a lot of choice, evening dinner of a high standard. We enjoyed the spa too! We had a room upgrade which was nice. Very comfortable room and appreciate being able to choose a pillow.

we were able to use the day spa 🧖🏾‍♀️ as part of our package. our breakfast was good too, as a suppose 5 star hotel breakfast should have been included.

Very good hotel and enjoyed our stay, however, having said this, this isn't a 5 star hotel, hence its price. Beautiful building and lovely staff, but it lacks that extra mile in details to achieve the 5 stars. Mystery room is not really worth it IMHO. The difference was there was a bathtub in the living room and a very big and empty bathroom with a shower plate. Spa is not very big, but nice enough with its sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We went in off-peak hours, otherwise it is too small for more than a handful. Breakfast was OK. It was too common to find empty bowls, platters, juices etc. But ok. My fault indeed, I forgot the keycard in the room, so when we were back I had to go to reception to ask for a new one. Weirdly enough, the person there, didn't speak English, and we had to wait 10 minutes for the actual person in reception to be back and give us a new one. Sort of details, you'd never find in a proper 5 stars hotel. I want to make it clear, I would come back here, but it's not a 5 stars. Its a good hotel in a gorgeous building.
