Honestly, I didn't expect an entire apartment fully equipped (it even had a washer). Everything was true to the description and the wifi connection was impressively good.

I like to explore on foot and the flat was not far from the city centre. There are local shops nearby too. James was helpful and provided tips on getting there from the airport. The flat was nice and tidy. I particularly liked the bed setup.

The place is located inside of a kindda socialist studios building in district XI, my guess is there are about 200 of them. You can feel some of the vibe of these 200 families, even living there a few days. The place is like a reminder of an old castle, a good comparison considering the city itself: there is only one way in and out, everyone got keys and 5 digits passcode, and, if you got a car you can also park it inside the fortress for a separate fee, for which you get a remote that opens the access gates. Not sure who was the enemy lol. The studio is located quite conveniently, not too central, not too remote, but definitely quiet and pleasant. The tram and bus stations are at walkable distance and so is the famous Gellert spa - we did walk to it on a hot day of June in about 30 minutes. Inside the house you will find almost (see below why almost) any single thing can cross your mind - even patches for calluses (I needed one). There is a balcony with a garden view where you can enjoy your morning coffee in or a glass of wine in the evening. A Chinese market is right at the exit, you can find here any refreshment could cross your mind. There are very few things which could be improved there. It is a very civilised place, the people are very polite and the price is very good for wat it offers.

Excellent location and good value for money. Close to the tram making it very accessible. Good communication from host made it an easy check in process. Great apartment with everything you need for a wholesome stay in Budapest. A+
