Daria “A disappointing stay marked by poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and unprofessional staff behavior”

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing. The apartment was poorly maintained — one night, yellow sludge unexpectedly started leaking from the ceiling, which was both alarming and unhygienic. There was no drinking water provided in the room, and the only available option was a vending machine charging 2 euros per bottle. Additionally, the room had no kettle, and there was no way to request hot water or even a simple cup of tea from the staff. When I asked for help, one staff member (typically present in the evenings) was particularly unhelpful and arrogant. He made inappropriate remarks, stood uncomfortably close, and told me to “go buy tea at a café,” despite most being closed at night. He even suggested I should have booked a business room if I wanted basic amenities like tea. This kind of dismissive and rigid attitude seriously affected my overall impression of the hotel. Hospitality should begin with kindness and support — especially when basic services are lacking. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit.

This is a very good hotel in a great location. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from Grand Place (though it’s a bit of a climb on the way back). The European Parliament is also within easy walking distance. There is a Metro stop just outside the hotel. The hotel itself is very comfortable & the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is good with excellent coffee. Hot food consists of bacon & scrambled eggs. The staff are lovely & are very helpful.

Exceptional value for money, good location, fabulous breakfast very comfortable bed, quite, no noise, I booked a small room & was very happy with this. Wonderful & helpful staff. Cannot wait to return.

The hotel is very centrally located, close to the metro and bus stops, as well as within walking distance of the major attractions.

The hotel is in a great location, not far from the EU institutions. There are also shops nearby where you can easily buy food and other needs.

Great room with bath and shower. Balcony with view. Good location for access to major places. Great variety of fresh produce for breakfast.
