Location of the hotel is very beautiful, but if the funicular would not work or if there were long lines, it would quit hard to get there, because any taxi draivers in como were not willing to drive there. Hotels price level is ok, and breakfast was good in italian standars.

Location, very easy access to Funicolare Como - Brunate. Only 7 minutes to go downtown to Como. Views from the property. Very clean rooms despite property is old. Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff.

We were please to stay at the hotel with 2 separate rooms connected together. Nice view, friendly staff, bottle of prosecco as the present, in general it was comfort and thank you for all.

The staff was great, lady in reception gave to the children small playthings with candies and the children were busy with these playthings for the next 3 days. A small thing, but a big happiness. Pistachio croissants for breakfast were a nice new discovery for our family. Some day in sunny whether conditions will come back.

The location was fabulous and the views from our balcony were amazing. Chiara the manager was so welcoming and helpful. She lend us a plug converter, gave us great tips and was just really friendly. She also makes a great coffee. Our room was clean. The breakfast was great value and the pistachio crossiants were out of this world! We will be back…highly recommend!

Lovely view. Nicely presented hotel. Plentiful breakfast but my God Italians have a sweet tooth don’t they. Warm room with a comfortable bed. Wander around the area there are good eating options if you explore a bit.

A wonderful hostess will meet you on the doorstep of this cozy hotel. A nice breakfast awaits you in the morning, everything you need is in the room. Hotel on the very top of the mountain with beautiful views. We recommend. All good rest.

We liked absolutely everything about Hotel Vista Lago! Amazing hosts, spectacular views and super comfortable rooms, spotlessly cleaned! Hotel Vista Lago was the best accommodation choice we made on our trip to the lake, we highly recommend this property to visitors they are looking for a place to enjoy and relax at the same time! The Breakfast, it was in buffet style, very tasty with a good selection of food! As for the staff, they were so kind and attentive! They couldn't do more to satisfy our requests! They even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift the departure day!!! I thank them a lot! You are just amazing! We are definitely coming back!

Room very comfortable. Reasonable view of Lake Como, although slightly obscured by buildings on opposite side of road. Location very convenient for the church (for anyone wishing to attend Mass on Sundays) which is just across the street and for the funicular and local restaurants. The staff were helpful and gave good local advice, especially about the operation of the funicular. (Note; if driving, and especially if running late, keep your mobile phone on and to hand as the hotel will call to offer travel directions and guidance for check-in).
