The air conditioning on arrival is superb, very important in Broken Hill. The stair case is wide and easy and the hotel has an excellent central location and yet is very quiet. The rooms are spacious and the first floor balcony is excellent, especially for New Year's Eve. Sadly the restaurant, which was outstanding ion past year's, is no more due to COVID.

Breakfast is available but is only continental style. I'd go to another location if you are looking for something more substantial. No other meals are available.

Hotel was like stepping back into the 1930s, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Conveniently located right in the centre of town, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Broken Hill.

It’s like stepping back in time to an era of grand hotels … it’s also a wonderful location … while we were there we experienced power outages beyond the control of the hotel … the staff did everything to ensure we weren’t inconvenienced.

The bath was amasing!!!!! The building was solid, the walls were so good for sound proofing. I slept so well.

The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The staff on the front desk were fabulous and very helpful. They had great local information and helped me plan a day of sightseeing the galleries and local attractions.

Great location on main street in Broken Hill. Easy access to buy food or eat out. Continental breakfast was very good, great price and a lot of options. Lovely art Deco era hotel, we sat out on balcony a few days to enjoy sights of Broken Hill. They had in the bathroom a dark coloured face washer especially for make up removal which was an excellent idea!
