Please note that access to the accommodation is via a single-storey staircase and may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.Please note the following restaurant opening hours:
Monday to Sunday: 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 21:00Please note that The Black Dog is closed between 14:30 and 17:00 from Monday until Saturday. Guests will not be able to check-in during this time, unless arranged in advance.Please note that early check-in is possible from 13:00 to 14:30.

Welcoming registration and plenty of parking at rear of property. Had dinner and breakfast and both exceeded expectations of a country pub. Staff polite, attentive and helpful throughout. Good size room and good shower (no bath). Called the black dog and lots of little touches to remind you of this. Dog friendly.

The restaurant evening meals were marvelous. Varied menu, excellently prepared and presented. Great choice at breakfast too. The staff were Incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. Made us feel wonderfully welcome. Would certainly recommend and definitely return.

Breakfast was a good full English, beer kept nicely. The staff were friendly and welcoming without being in your face all the time.
