Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit & debit cards are accepted excluding American Express.All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. (Full, existing members of Hostelling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund). Individual reservations (Up to 9 persons) - can cancel free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date.If cancelled within the 3 days before the arrival 100 percent of the total price will be charged. Groups reservations (more than 9 persons) - different policies and additional supplements will apply. More than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost. 8 – 4 weeks (56- 29 days) 55% of total cost. 4 – 0 weeks (28 - 0 day) 100% of total cost. No stag or hen parties are permitted at any youth hostel.Should guests be entitled to a refund or part refund please note that these are processed by Hostelling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used. From the age of 12 to 15 years, young people must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender when booking a bed within shared accommodation.Parties with children under 12 years will only be accommodated in private rooms, where available. Hostelling Scotland advise that additional notice be given to the destination youth hostel when travelling with children, to ensure that suitable accommodation is available. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.Check-in from 17:00 until 22:00. Check-out from 07:00 until 10:00. The reception is open from 8am - 10 am then 5pm to 10 pm.
We close reception during the day for cleaning. Later arrival and access outside opening hours is by pre-arrangement only.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Please note that the full amount of the reservation is due before arrival. will send a confirmation with detailed payment information. After full payment is taken, the property's details, including the address and where to collect keys, will be emailed to you.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location of the hostel was perfect, right in the middle of Broadford. The kitchen was large, with lots of utensils and cutlery and there was plenty space in the two fridges to store our food.

was very clean and the facilities were very good. it's in a good location for an overnight stop on the way to the ferry at Uig. the common areas were very clean and well presented. a pleasant half mile walk into the village for food and drink. woul definitely use again.
