Thé staff are helpful and friendly. The position is ideal for visiting Brixham. The food is good and reasonably priced.

We stayed for a night to travel on The Train of Lights and our accommodation was right by the railway track and the bedroom that our son's stayed in was facing the track so they could watch the train pass through and hear it's whistle, which they loved. You could only hear the train whistle while the event is taking place, no traffic noise lovely and quiet, comfortable sleep. Mark who is the manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, well presented and clean, Sunday Lunch was absolutely beautiful, big portions and very well priced, breakfast was also very nice indeed. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely large room, comfortable bed. Great breakfast and super evening meals offered in pub ambience. Ideally located for visiting local attractions and Brixham Harbour and Dartmouth. We understand there are good bus routes from nearby bus stop for those without car.

We have stayed at the railway Inn before and we were pleased with food, staff and cleanliness This time the food was good as before and the staff were friendly. But it was looking tired which we accepted as it was the end of the season but then I had a shower the water took ages to drain away by the time I finished my shower I was stood in 2-3 inches of water. When I turned the none slip bath mat over to allow it to dry it was black with scum and bacteria. This meant that I chose to have strip washes for the rest of our stay in tepid water. Very disappointed will not stay there again

It was cheap,available and on bus route into Brixham. Breakfast was nice.
