Hotel is a fair location, pending how you travel. By Uber, it's about 10 mins journey to temple Meads station, but there's a small station about 10 mins walking distance that's cheap to get to/from Temple Meads. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. For a 3-star hotel and a basic room, it's a little overpriced than I would have liked to pay, but it didn't impact my stay. The bed was comfortable, though I'm not used to the style mattress or pillows. Cold water for drinking and washing took a while to come through cold rather than warm. Overall, it's not a bad stay. Early check-in and late check-out are possible for a small (worth it) fee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, I had a traditional English breakfast and it was delicious, fresh and hot.

The room was warm, the area was quiet, the food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Oh, and the poached egg was done properly, opposed to just using a poaching pan with cup inserts

Reasonably quiet, location good for getting around. Bit of character. Clean comfy beds, lots of hot water. Staff really nice and helpful. Fairly good breakfast choices.

The view from the outside looks like a plush looking hotel but inside my room 40 was below standard. Friendly multiple breakfast staff tried hard to please. I did inform the receptionist but she never wrote done any notes so I wonder if things will improve. I paid £109 and it was only worth £75

I booked this for a uni visit with my daughters and was a bit worried by some of the reviews but I needn't have been. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Car parking is expensive on the streets around if there is no space in the Washington car park. Around £10 for three hours from 9am to 9pm.
