The property was clean, comfortable and suitable for our need. In many respects standard fair these days. However, the food at the pub was very mediocre … boring choices, low quality but relatively expensive. Pub food seems to be so hit and miss!. It’s located perfectly and is, in my opinion, a missed opportunity! With a more adventurous menu, locally sourced and well cooked it would be rammed!

Perfect stop the night before our early flight next morning. Never usually sleep too well as I always clock watch, but bed was really comfy. Staff were excellent too, we had booked our room but not restaurant. It was fully booked but they went out of their way to accommodate us. Excellent service.

I only stayed the one night as I was catching the plane early next morning so I didn't get to have the breakfast but I had an evening meal which was perfect, very tasty, fast service and friendly staff

The welcome of the staff and the fact that the food and beer were good in the pub. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we wanted in the room. We asked for more coffee sachets and were given them. The shower was very good but we could have done with a heated towel rail! The staff were very friendly and served us very well. The breakfast was just enough for us and was delicious. We will stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent, you ordered the night before and everything was there ready for you at the appointed time. Food in the restaurant was very good. The second night we stayed was the Wednesday "curry and drink night" for £12.95 which was excellent value. I had the Beef Madras and the beef was so tender. All the staff were exceptional - helpful & friendly.
