“Great Food, Great Staff and the premises are being refurbished”

The staff were friendly, helpful and open to suggestions for improvement - they were about to begin a major refurbishment. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb - this is not pub grub but pricey-restaurant standard at not far off pub prices. Dogs are genuinely welcomed, and there is an enjoyable country walk starting with a footpath that goes along a lane and then up a path with great views.

Large room. Great facilities. Perfect for one night prior to going to airport. Great breakfast choices. Staff very friendly. Nothing too much trouble.
