Everyone was so friendly. It was close to all areas of interest within 15 to 30 min walk. It was my husband's 60th birthday, the staff put some chocolate, wine and a card for him

The facilities in the room were great and as expected. The big free-standing copper bath was a real feature in the bathroom and, optionally with the door slid back, in the room.
