My only minor complaint is that the room smelled musty, but it was clean. It needed airing. The bed was comfortable, the shower good. There was no desk in the room so unable to use my laptop which was not a huge problem TBH. The menu was very good and an excellent wine list. Service was spot on. Breakfast was really good. No real complaints apart from the above.

Lovely surroundings and wonderful gardens. The main hotel is lovely, with real fires and great interior decor, fitting for the age of the building. The quintessential country hotel. The annex was comfortable and modern but with furnishings that linked the two buildings together.

underfloor heating in the bathroom. the roll top bath, the breakfast, the service and the remote location. Lovely fairytale atmosphere to this 'gift' of a house. High ceilinged , spacious well decorated room with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

Beautiful country house in a very convenient location for north Bristol. My room was spacious, warm and opulently decorated. I loved the furniture, the powerful shower and the extremely comfortable bed. Lovely views across the grounds. Smart public areas.

We had a problem with the heating in the room.We were moved immediately to another room . We had the pleasure of an upgrade. Staff were great.
