Motel Overview

This clean, modern motel is located at Kangaroo Point, a peaceful yet convenient setting just 2 km from Brisbane CBD. Its facilities feature an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is available.
The air-conditioned rooms are modern in style. Amenities include a TV, a mini refrigerator, and tea and coffee facilities. There is also a communal kitchen available for guests' use.
CityStar Lodge faces a pleasant park just a short walk from the Gabba. You can also easily reach the riverside walk, CityCat riverboat services and buses to the city centre.
Relax by the outdoor pool, or enjoy use of the barbecue area which is available upon request.
Free secure parking with height limit to 2 metre is available along with limited street parking.

Great location for our event at The GABBA. Family room was spacious for our needs (2 adults and 2 adult children). Bathroom but cramped but still fine and clean.

Reception helped with suggestions on the best place to see the fireworks on NYE. We even received a text on that afternoon reminding us not to lock ourselves out of our rooms, which was really considerate. Remarkably quiet room and we had quite low expectations for some reason, the rooms are recently refurbished, large, the hotel is central and within walking distance to South Bank. Highly recommend.

The beautiful gardens and lights near the pool. The amenities were fantastic, the guest kitchen was stocked perfectly and so easy to navigate. The room was very clean with yummy hand wash, body wash etc, the bed was very comfortable and the pool was clean and beautiful to swim in. Great for kids with a shallow end. The warm welcome we received was wonderful after a long day and communication was excellent. The car park underneath was so convenient. The location was perfect right near so many places to eat , parks and just a short drive to river and ferries. Would definitely stay again.

From the minute we walked in and were greeted by the receptionist we were very happy with our choice in hotel, she was super lovely and very accommodating helping us with our luggage. The room was perfect for what we needed, the beds were SUPER comfy and the aircon was nice and cold. The location was great, very close to the city and walking distance to a bottleo and supermarket, fast food venues, and the Pineapple Hotel which served amazing food. Our rubbish was also taken to the bin by another staff member saving us a trip, super friendly!

Our family stayed at City Star due to easy accessibility to the Gabba which is a straight 700m walk away. It's easy to find and has a variety of food places within walking distance. Parking was convenient and secure. Beds are comfortable and I love that there is complimentary water and biscuits.

Fantastic location, just a short walk from The Gabba, Kangaroo Point and right next to a pub that doesn't close at 9pm (Had a drink at 11pm which is late for Brisbane!)

It was very tasteful and had everything in the room. Looks as though it has been refurbished and they have done a great job! Walking distance to Southbank, Kangaroo Point.
