Quiet beautiful setting close to the main street and on the river. My unit was very well set up and had a bath/spa and wood fire. Alistair was very helpful and checking/out was very smooth.

Fantastic location. Gorgeous 9 minute walk into town along a picturesque river through a tree-lined path. Plenty of space in the cottage. Had a dip in the river on a hot afternoon. Very refreshing. Mattress too firm for my taste.

The location, the ambience, the privacy, the quiet … and of course the beauty of the gardens and adjacent riverside. I doubt there’s another rental within the township of Bright that offers anything like this!

The cottage was great with all the facilities we needed. Very clean and comfortable and the hosts were lovely. Easy access to town and set on the river with access to swimming hole.

Merrimeet cottages were located right near the lovely ovens River. A short 10 min stroll to the town centre of Bright. We were even lucky enough to see a platypus playing in the river.

Fantastic location, right next to the river within walking distance to the town centre. Also a great scenic walk in the other direction along the river. Alastair was very friendly when we arrived. Will be going back there again soon hopefully
