If you expect to arrive after 21:00, please inform Seehotel Bären in advance. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the off-season periods (between mid September and mid June, except of public holidays). A half board menu with Indian, Ayurvedic or Swiss cuisine is available on request.

Perfect location sat on the side of the Lake. I had a single room which was larger than I expected. Nice shower and delicious breakfast. Peaceful location. Very friendly staff. Only a 10 minute walk from the train/bus station.

I have slept in several hotels in Brienz, and this place is the best value for money (and on the other hand, hotel Weisses Kreuz is not recommended…). The staff was super nice, the view of the lake from the room is just fantastic, the room was simple and clean, and a good breakfast.

Brienz is absolutely beautiful. The hotel was comfortable, breakfast had a good variety of cereal and delicious breads. We had a shared bathroom but it wasn’t a problem, never had to wait for the shower. Good pizza and Coop close by.

The property location and the staff behaviour were impeccable. The hotel has a good breakfast spread and best on weekends where the hot meals are more in number

The first thing we like is the view from the hotel, on one side the mountains and on the other side the mountains and the lake, which we could admire while sitting at a delicious breakfast.Room very clean, bed very comfortable

Friendly and welcoming staff. That day there was a jazz concert which made the atmosphere enjoyable. The location is just perfect, located on the banks of the lake Brienz. The food at the restaurant is also nice, and the breakfast was very rich. The waiters were all kind and helpful.

Balcony view is incredible. Right by the water without any obstruction so I could enjoy the lake until the last of the light was gone. Beautiful. Staff on reception and in the restaurant at breakfast are very welcoming and friendly. There was lovely music entertainment in the hotel restaurant while I was there too which was a bonus. I would come back.
