The apartment is located in a very quiet and beautiful place, the views are breathtaking. The kitchen is well-equipped (but it would be nice to provide some oil for cooking). The double bed is comfortable but in fact it has not one big mattress but two separate mattresses. It was warm enough, the host prepared the wooden stove for us every day and when we returned from the skiing the house was well heated. It is very convenient that toilet and bathroom are separate rooms and that the bathroom has two sinks, which allows to speed up the preparations in the morning. We were told that normally the barbecue is available only during the summer time, but on our request the hosts prepared the gas barbecue and shown how to use it. The closest supermarket is in Blumau, about 10-15 minutes by car down the serpentine road. The closest ski lifts are in Welschnofen, about 20 minutes by car, and Carezza. That skiing region is not connected with Sellaronda, but is is much less crowded and nice. The closest access to Sellaronda is in Val Gardena, which is in about 60 minutes by car from the apartment.
