Breakfast was such a good german experience. All the things you could imagine in a german breakfast were present. It was delicious. The room was beautiful and an excellent suite. The view of the old town was right there out the window and it was very easy to wander into the christmas markets and the heart of Bremen. The room service was also dreamy.

Fredereike was charming when we arrived, friendly and helpful. We left at 7.30am on the 27th December and I would like to commend the lady who was on reception - good fun at a horribly early hour! All the people that we dealt with were determined to make our stay as lovely as possible.

Location of this hotel was great! We stayed here just one night as a stopover on our road trip to visit the Christmas markets and since it's in the middle of the city center it was all within walking distance.

The hotel is within walking distance of the centre the shopping street and stores, especially the Christmas market, which was the main reason we booked it. The room was clean and the bathroom essentials (ie. hand soap, body lotion) were one of the best things which we liked very much. The hotel staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and service-oriented. A special thanks to Ms. Friederike Krog, the Front Desk Staff, who had patiently assisted us with our late check-in and our requests once we had checked in. She assisted us with her friendliness, professionalism and smile, and we had a good chat about her previous short assignment/training in Amsterdam, while waiting for our room keys.

Great location for walking around the shops, the church and 150 meters from the river with a walking path along the side. Getting to and from the Airport is simple and about 20 euro (2024) and 10 minutes depending on traffic. The reception staff were excellent and the restaurant is of a high standard, just a bit small when the hotel is fully booked. I was lucky enough to have a high floor facing the famous church which was lite up at night.

Very soft bed, clean, water cooker and coffee machine, full fridge. The breakfast is complete and with plenty of choice. The hotel is very close to the town square.
