There is a calm and restorative atmosphere in the lovely historic building and beautiful surroundings. It is completely quiet at night with wonderful dark skies. David and Gill are brilliant hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Comfy bed, warm room, fantastic breakfast and a really nice meal in their restaurant . Not surprisingly they get a lot of repeat custom. Gill is also an amazing baker and sells a tempting array of bread, pies, cakes and puddings on Saturday mornings - home made hot cross buns and doughnuts for example! Buster does the loveliest meet and greet!

Great host. Warm welcome - the carrot cake was amazing! Very tranquil. Beautiful surroundings. Delicious breakfast.

Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was really top notch. The special tapas menu was superb. Enjoyed chilling out by the fire with a glass of wine.

Great location right on the edge of Brechfa forest, close to walks and mountain bike trails. Dog friendly. Food was excellent, goats cheese soufflé was perfection. Room was comfortable and clean

Ty Mawr is a little hidden gem tucked away in a very quiet village. The food was simply perfect as well as the service.
