My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property on Christmas Eve. The arrival and check-in experience were great - the hotel offered a glass of vin chaud, which was a nice touch during the festive season. The property and its grounds are well taken care of. The team was incredibly friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and the food went above and beyond our expectations - great quality and excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

This is our second stay at Monkey Island. We asked if for an early check in as I was working which they kindly accommodated. The property was decorated lovely for Christmas. Room was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of a Black Friday Offer.

The surroundings were beautifully calm and peaceful, a lovely idyllic setting along the Thames . The hotel itself is comprised of different buildings all very grand, the interior design was as lovely as the outside. The staff were welcoming and friendly

Everything!!! We were treated with such kindness and generosity and love too!!! my partner and i stayed in the Wedgewood suite and he proposed that morning and my goodness, we felt like royalty with how beautiful everyone was to us 🥰 definitely going to make it our annual place to stay!!! thank u oh to EVERYONE who made it such a special and memorable weekend xxxxxxx

The location was exceptional and the staff very polite and helpful. They kindly allowed us to have an early check-in. The room was small but well-appointed. We loved the terrace off our room. Breakfast and dinner were both fabulous.

Beautiful secluded place by the river. Lovely quiet rooms to sit and read newspaper. Delicious breakfast. Ideal romantic getaway for something completely different.
