Hotel Overview

Hotel Braunlage is located on a quiet side street, directly next to Braunlage's spa gardens, in the Harz Nature Park. The Wurmberg ski slopes are just 500 metres away.
The tasteful, retro style rooms feature modern amenities and includes a flat-screen TV. Some also boast WiFi and a balcony with a view of the spa gardens.
Start your day with a visit to the Nitzschke’s lovingly prepared breakfast room for a tasty continental breakfast. Dinner is available on request and is served in the restaurant Gaststätte Harzheimat, 100 metres away.
The Nitzschke lies next door to the spa gardens and therefore, just a short walk from the spa and its facilities. The surrounding Harz nature park offers extensive forests with hiking and cycling trails for you to explore.

Price-value was best. Nothing fancy, old and somewhat run down, but clean rooms, hotel. Breakfast sufficient, people friendly, a drink available in a refrigerator in the hallway, slept well and was allowed to park in garage which was outstanding.

Clean, good location, owners are very nice. Breakfast was great, and beautifully pre arranged in the morning for us. There is a lot of greenery around the place to walk around or hike. The city is very cozy.

Very nice room. Central situated but quiet Good bed, and nice with a couple og very comfy chairs also. And right next to a very nice park. Good breakfast and very nice host. We needed to go to a doctor/hospital and he called them for us, and informed us where to go. Very helpfull.
