The location was basically in the city centre. Apartment has 2 bedrooms (one large – the one from the photos, the other one very small with small bed for 2 people).

Brasov is one place a visitor touring Romaniia should make time to visit. With excellent rail and bus connections - it makes it easy for independent car-free travellers. The hosts great ultra-wideangle photo's and previous guests descriptions led us to expect more than we got - a tiny two bedroom ground-floor flat with a micro sized bathroom and kitchen/diner with seats at table for only 2 people. Once you have but your bags on the floor - there is not much room to walk around the bed in each room. One bedroom's window opens onto a very dingy passageway and the other room's 2 windows onto a very busy one way street with car and van traffic to the early hours. Initially it was a bit of a shock for us as we entered the place though a dark smelly passageway & opened the door - for it seemed very different to our preconceptions raised by the Booking-Com advert'; it was by far the smallest place we stayed in a month of travel in Romania. However, change your expectations and then it is a small/ultra-compact central stay in Brasov, in an old apartment, carved out of a rambling old house, with comfortable beds, a kitchen with a full oven, stove and fridge, and a warm shower in a small bath. There is a good small supermarket and a great fruit & veg shop only 100m away - perfect for making use of the micro-kitchen in the apartment. Both are open to 10pm in the summer. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in Brasov - which comes alive in the summer evenings with what seems to be the whole town siting out, eating, drinking, dancing and promenading.
