Hotel Overview

This 4-star hotel was totally refurbished in 2013 and includes a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool. Hotel Mercure Braga Centro is located in Braga city centre, 500 metres from the Sé Cathedral and the shopping area.
All air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen cable TV and free WiFi. The private bathrooms come with hairdryers, free toiletries and bath.
On the first floor there is a restaurant which serves regional and traditional dishes together with an extensive wine list. Guests can also enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Bom Jesus and Sameiro.

It was very clean and the staff were super attentive. The WiFi in my room was not fast and my room got changed when I reported that. It was also my anniversary getaway and they were nice enough to put in some decorations for us. It was also very central.

Great location, one block to supermarket, two blocks to old town. Fresh hotel, in a fairly new building, large rooms and !even has a balcony). The hotel has an underground parking lot.

The underground car park is excellent and readily accessible although you will need to check in to obtain your ticket to enter/exit the car park. The hotel decor is fabulous and lifts require your keycard to access the floor adding security. The rooms are fantastic, breakfast is superb and there is a great infinity pool and gym on one of the floors. The cocktail bar is superb serving the best cocktails I have ever had (which is infrequent) but these are costly but very much worth it. The cocktail maker/waiter is an expert! We loved this hotel stay in Braga - A short walk from the city centre. Make sure you don't miss the chapel of bones!!!

We stayed in a comfortable suite. Nice to have a breakfast option on-site. Located close to the city center and the venues for the Women's European Lacrosse Championships.
