We stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful hotel in a lake view room which gave us lovely views of the lake. We arrived at the property at roughly around 1.30 PM for check-in, and there was no availability for early check-in even though the request was made online. It was a rainy weekend and we sat at the restaurant and had lunch while our room was made ready. The lift was very old and "vintage" which kind of adds to the charm of the hotel. The room was pleasant with a good view of the lake. I was celebrating my birthday during the stay, and the team had written a very sweet message wishing me. To compare, all other places we have stayed during the years would typically add in a fruit tray/chocolates or a little pastry with the message. However, it was unimpressive that the hotel chose not to. The temperature of the room was well maintained and the bath amenities were perfect. There were no toothbrush kits available in the room, and we called the reception. However, they didn't have any available. The staff at the reception Charie was very friendly and gave us tips on where to visit and what to do. He definitely took the entire experience to the next level for us and thank you for that! We had breakfast at the hotel for 3 days and found the options very boring and minimal, mostly dishes with egg, however the portions were filling. They also have a small spread of breads and jams which were ok and the pastry served tasted eggy. Overall, the place is beautiful and I would highly recommend it for a stay away from the city.
