This is a hotel with history, nice interior, great garden and bar. As you can expect from the building with history, my room had some tears and wears but overall was nice comfy, got an upgrade as it was the middle.of the week, nice surprise. Superbe location, great price. Really enjoyed my stay.

Another great stay at this lovely historic hotel. Low season upgrade to an executive room with a sea view; great food and nice staff. We keep going back for good reason.

I really like this hotel. It’s in desperate need of modernisation but if you like 1970’s grandeur then it will be right up your street and is fascinating for reminiscing. Staff are hit & miss. Some are wonderful (Dave) but others clearly did not want to be there and were rude. The hotel states its dog friendly but it’s really not, they will accept dogs but they do absolutely nothing to make them welcome and we were made to feel guilty because we have them- this was the worst part and such a shame.

Room was great - although a little dated. Room was very warm which in summer would not be good. No Phone for reception..
