Nice refurbished hotel, but the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast was horrible, not even able to make a simple tomato pasta, for breakfast please make sure you are not ordering croissant, it will come strong as a stone. If you are lactose free they don't provide any alternatives even though they asked the question at the reception. Check in procedure very rude. High potential but need a lot of improvement.

I thought the rooms were slightly tired. This is a very old building though. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. I didn’t use the spa area. The breakfast was excellent and very good value. Staff were professional and friendly. Restaurant was reasonably clean.

I enjoyed the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, the music that was played in the bar and we had a very lovely time. Also, the Sunday lunch was absolutely superb and really tasty.

The room was good for the price but definitely in need of "sprucing up". It was a good size with ample storage space but the curtains were loose on the rail and the door lock was a simple chub lock - adequate but not very secure. The main room light flickered considerably when turned on. There was also a distinct smell of chlorine in the corridor from the pool. We were on the first floor so quite near the pool area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well positioned for the beach and town, with good parking facilities. The pool is quite small but clean and the sauna is very good. We had a very enjoyable one-night stay there and for the price, this is a good base for a short break.

The staff are all very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. All areas were very clean and well looked after. The shower was nice, the bed comfortable and the room kept at a nice temperature. The parking was easy (off season)
