Centrally located on Bournemouth's West Cliff, the 4-star Connaught Lodge is just 350 yards from the cliff top and 5 minutes walk from the BIC, Pavilion, and the thriving town centre. Just a short stroll across the garden terrace, guests can enjoy full access to facilities at the lodge's sister hotel, Best Western Plus The Connaught Hotel and Spa.
Guests staying at Connaught Lodge can enjoy free membership for Best Western Plus The Connaught Hotel’s Bluewater Spa, which features a 20 yard swimming pool and adjoining spa pool, gym, sauna, steam room, 4 deluxe beauty and massage therapy suites and a relaxation lounge.
Also situated in the sister hotel are the Gin Bar, serving over 100 different gins and the award-winning AA Rosette Connaught Brasserie which uses fresh, local produce wherever possible. Bournemouth is also home to varied shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs.

The staff, pool/spa and location. And cleanliness and lounge areas. And they responded promptly to issues I raised. The massage. The room, as I was upgraded I think because they were quiet. The staff were all excellent and helpful and responded immediately with my issues.

Staff were friendly, accommodating too. Shout out to Maddy, and Josh. The lodge room was new looking compared to dated hotel rooms. The housekeeping team, did well. The lift worked. Quiet area. Easy walk to sea front once, braved the very long walk down and up a steep hill to get to the tourist info area. Okay sized clean pool and sauna. Nice spread for breakfast and good variety. Clean and nicely arranged. The three course dinner is pricy. Live saxophonist.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good full breakfast, excellent pool and facilities, only slight draw back was Nespresso machine didn't work even after factory reset/clean but we did not report this so otherwise a lovely stay and would recommend.
