We booked the Don carlos room, which is the biggest. The room was great but a bit over priced, the style of the room was correct with a nice TV and also the location close to nearby shops. For the breakfast distinguished decorations and an amazing staff member from Ireland. The cleaning staff was very welcoming as well. It was an uncommon and rare experience to sleep in the master suit that belongs to a king.

A inique residence, steeped in history. A very quiet location close to the cathedral. A comfortable, spacious room. The brwakfast was superb.

Exceptional breakfast, probably the best breakfast experience in a hotel in wonderful surroundings. The lady who served breakfast (apologies we cannot remember her name) was so helpful and what a wonderful cook, scrambled eggs highly recommended and the cakes she baked delicious.

Beautiful decor and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful, served on delicate porcelain china by delightful lady. The salon was peaceful and beautifully appointed.

Excellent breakfast in exceptional circumstances The massive sense of history about our room. I know enough French history to appreciate the significance of its one time occupant.
