We chose La Boulonnaise for its location in the middle of the old citadel, right by the cathedral and central square (wonderfully decorated for Christmas). As this was our first visit, we knew nothing of our hosts, the most warmly welcoming, helpful and informative couple imaginable. Our room was elegantly decorated, with excellent en-suite facilities and a large and comfortable bed, this matched by the range and quality of the breakfast choices. We'll be back!

The most beautiful house in the old town of Boulogne. Gorgeous furnishings & spotlessly clean. A lovely continental breakfast served with top class local products. The lady who owns the B & B is very professional & friendly. Some great good value restaurants close by & artisan shops. We will definitely be back.

The location is fantastic - right in the heart of the old town inside the city walls. Lovely large room with comfortable bed. The whole property had great character. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection of continental breakfast goodies including nice selection of cheeses and some very fresh and large croissants and pain au chocolat. The host was very friendly and chatty over breakfast.

Wonderful building and spacious room in the old part of town with just a short stroll to a good choice of restaurants. The owner was very helpful in telling us about parking in the street although she also had private parking nearby if needed. The breakfast was very nice. The room itself was huge with a nice walk in shower and coffee and tea making equipment.

The property was a good value stay, we stayed in the family room, It was exceptional quality property with a great quality breakfast. It is located in an old town area with a street just round the corner of small Resturant’s. I will stay here again and explore more.

Very good located near the Kd city wall and dome. Parking was difficult but we were lucky to find a spot just in front. Nice rooms with good space. Nice breakfast and friendly history
