Helpful staff even with very late check-in. Dark and silent rooms as well as comfortable beds. Opportunity to sit on the back, by the foot of the mountain, and enjoy breakfast.

Amazing location, close enough to be able to walk into town and right by some trailheads so you can hike right out the door. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was good and included cereals, boiled eggs, bagels, bread for toast, fruit, juices. Rooms have air conditioning and heating and we slept well. A charming motel, the best value we found in the area, and would definitely recommend.

The charm factor. Also, the motel's surrounding yard/grounds and the very close proximity to a park and Boulder Canyon Creek.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Foot of the Mountain Hotel located on the outskirts of Beautiful Boulder. Patty and the other staff were lovely and very helpful with offering me directions to where I needed to go😊The Boulder Creek path runs beside the motel and makes for a wonderful walk (you can also access most of Boulder via this well designed pedestrian path) so would definitely recommend this motel and would happily stay there again.

The breakfast is provided and is super yummy! Loved the porridge and bagels with eggs. Location is brill, a 10-15 minute stroll along the river to town. Close to hiking/running trails.

Everything! Friendly staff, clean room, perfect location for access to hikes and waking up to mountain views. Only 20 mins walk to downtown. Simple breakfast.

Location literally is at the foot of the mountain. Also right along a beautiful walking path that meanders along Boulder Creek. The staff are always freindly and they are very accomodating. Love that they compost and don't use any styrofoam for their breakfast. This place has a community feeling like a hostel. The guests we've met there are always so interesting and friendly.

This is an attractive little motel in a very pleasant setting with 'doorstep' access to many trails on the edge of Boulder and a 20-min creek-side walk through a park into the Downtown area. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was provided in the price (as well as complementary tea and coffee throughout the day) which made it better value than some if still one of the more expensive motels we encountered on our 3-week trip. Would recommend.
