Overall this is a very nice hotel with lovely rooms and we would stay again if the price was right, especially during the week, just be aware of how busy it gets at peak times. The location is great - lots going on nearby. One day there was a free live jazz festival a few minutes walk from the hotel, and another day there was an outdoor market nearby. If you’re travelling with someone else make sure you book a patron tower room (so that you get a proper bathroom with a door on it) as the artist tower rooms have the sinks etc in the bedroom so are only really suitable for solo travellers. We had a deluxe patron room with two queen beds and it was lovely. A good size room and the beds were very comfortable and all the furniture was nice. We were lucky our room didn’t over look the pool (as the pool gets very noisy and has loud music playing there) so if you get given a room overlooking the pool I personally would ask to switch to one that doesn’t. We were worried about pets being allowed in the hotel, so at check-in we asked for a pet-free room on a pet-free floor and they said this was absolutely fine. Pets were supposed to be banned from the pool deck but there was a dog there one day barking a lot which wasn’t great especially as staff could see it and didn’t do anything, but otherwise we didn’t see too many dogs in the hotel, just in the foyer really, so it wasn't a problem. The silver line subway station at World Trade Center is very close. It’s buses which run underground rather than normal Subway trains on this line. They were very regular and we never had to wait long. When you get off at World Trade Center don’t go out the main exit - there is another set of escalators next to it which look abandoned but you can go up them - go up those to the very top floor of the station and turn left and the hotel is in front of you. We got a Charlie card which gave us unlimited travel for a week and it was really cheap.

Breakfast was good at the open rapid counter. We had coffee, juice breakfast sandwich and muffins. The breakfast buffet was not enticing for their brunch on Saturday and Sunday at $29.00. Too expensive!

The staff were very very helpful & nice. Great location once you get your bearings. Rooms were clean, comfortable & cleaned daily. Ice & coffee machine outside our door. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. M would definitely recommend.
