Fantastic location right by th e4 man lift, can ski back to hotel. Compared to other hotels the braekfast was pretty good, Friendly staff. Room adequate, nice balcony.

Very convenient to ski. Not expensive but regretfully that comes with the fact the hotel needs a significant makeover if it wishes to attract more capital. Everything is just very tired looking. Old furniture, garish orange linen, etc. but for what they charge; about right.

Excellent value for a superb location Room 403 was huge, two single beds in three rooms with a long living area and bathroom, Excellent shower pressure. Venus windows to look at the stars in the evening. Right next to one of the ski lifts, couldn’t get closer.

Very good location, all you need just go outside and you on the slide and ski. Big room, warm with a lot of bedrooms for each. We had a kettle, refrigerator , bathroom facilities, many blankets. They can arrange for you a transfer to/from Sofia or Sofia airport for additional price. It was very comfy for us as family with young girl.

The property was cosy and clean and well situated in relation to ski lifts + amenities! The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety and you could also purchase drinks/teas coffee throughout your stay. I also appreciated that the room had a kettle. This has not been the case in other accommodations.

We loved everything about the hotel and the staff. Staff’s communication both during and before our stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean and warm. The location is excellent. It must be one of the few ski in ski out hotels in borovets. We stay with breakfast only and the breakfast was all you need. A mix of continental and some hot food. Hit the spot every morning. Although we didn’t opt for the half board option we both agreed in hindsight we should have. We seen other guests eating dinner and it looked great. The cleaner in particular were amazing. Rooms were always so clean and the lobby/bar area was clean. You really see the effort they put into keeping the place clean. If we come back to borovets there is nowhere else I would stay. Hotel Forrest Star is perfect for a great ski holiday.

A wonderful little hotel right by the ski-lift and slopes. Clean rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff, nice atmosphere. Good views but be sure to book a room on an upper floor for this.
