Some great breakfast components, others not as good. Like egg & bacon in a little glass jar, not something we are used to. Lack of explanation of food sections, especially for non-Danish speakers.

The location is outstanding, with very big gardens and nature. Beautiful facilities as there was a spa and outdoor jacuzzi.

I rarely give 10 but this hotel deserves it. Excellent spa, friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Accommodation was lovely. We had a balcony room with views across the garden and out to the fjord. The food was fresh and delicious, free tea/coffee and juice available, easy access to the countryside and some lovely walks. Very comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings- perfect for relaxing and recharging.

Such a wonderful hotel! Great location by super scenic fjord and marina, room was comfortable, spacious, and totally quiet, and the spa was incredible. The building from 1902 (ish) is full of history and architectural charm from that time period, but everything seems fully renovated and in top condition, so really the best of both worlds. Breakfast was great, although not the largest variety of items (but more than enough for 2 days). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
