The location is very remote but beautiful. We used this hotel as a stop from vik to stykkisholmur. The staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. The soup at dinner was the perfect finish to a busy day.

Very warm and classy atmosphere. The staff are very kind and mellow. It‘s perfect, if you‘re looking for a precious base in western Iceland. Good location to explore the Snaeffellsness peninsula and other more land inward destinations such as Thingvellir National Park or the Geysiers.

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Loved the bathrooms too. Staff is helpful. We got lost so the response was quite quick with a google link for driving.

Not only that the hotel served breakfast earlier to meet our travel schedule, the hotel owner went above and beyond to fix our broken car. He mobilised his network early morning so we could contiue our trip and catch the flight. We are grateful forever. BTW, we saw the Northern light from the house.

The hotel was very clean and cozy - warm lobby and cool dining room. The room was not big, but enough compact size. Staffs were not many and not much commucation to be honest, but they are all basically very kind and warm people. Good distance of hospitality and indipendency. Thanks

Very nice, cozy hotel in a good location. Perfect basecamp if you want to discover the surrondings of Borgarness. The mexican chicken soup was more than tasty. Staff is friendly, and helpfull.
