This is a superb b&b, immaculately clean, excellent breakfast served every morning home made yogurts, home made museli and home made jams plus eggs and cooked meat and fresh fruit salad very, very enjoyable. Bruno was an excellent host and advised us on best way to get from airport. There is a bus about a 2 minute walk from b & b which takes you into the centre of Bordeaux for €1.70. Room is thoroughly cleaned every day. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you so much Bruno for a lovely stay.

It was a great location in a lovely part of Bordeaux. Only a 20 minute walk to the centre or a two minute walk to the bus stop. The accommodation was lovely and very stylish. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with local information.

This period house is quirky and charming, stuffed full of antiques, objets and all lovingly cared for. Huge attention to detail. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Our host was charming and couldn't have been more helpful with maps and suggestions. Breakfast was excellent - all home made with particularly delicious home made jams and yoghurt. Location is good with transport nearby to get into the centre and an assortment of cafes 5 mins away as well as the magnificent St Seurin basilica. A great base for visiting Bordeaux.

The host's attention to detail was amazing. The room was fabulous. The host also made his own jams, yoghurt & musile. Scrupulous. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was a dream. The bus into the city centre was around the corner!

La Villa Desvaux de Marigny provided us with an exceptionally fine end to our brief holiday. Bruno (Patrick was away) is supremely courteous and helpful. Our room, with its view over the garden, was more an apartment than a bedroom. Its decor, like the rest of the house, is carefully chosen; you're staying in a home, not a pension or an impersonal hotel. Bruno's breakfast is a full meal, not just toast and coffee. Saint Seurin, the location of the Villa, is a delightful residential area, in Bordeaux's Centre, with numerous amenities and several city bus routes. To sightsee we mostly walked. We recommend La Villa Desvaux de Marigny most highly.

Lovely couple with a beautiful home. Very welcoming, delicious and complete breakfast, kind hosts who provided everything necessary. The location is great for getting to the downtown area and reaching the train station etc.

Absolutely beautiful home stay. Stunning rooms and bathroom..I felt like I was in a suite in a luxurious hotel. Huge and spectacular bathroom, bedroom and lovely sitting area with a view of the terrace and local streets. Breakfast was divine and prepared to your tastes each day. 15-minute safe and easy walk into town. Bus around the corner as well although we were happy to walk. Convenient street parking but be sure to organise cheaper rate with owners in advance. Room 'serviced' daily which was lovely and unexpected.

This is a very elegant property with beautiful outside space. Room super comfortable & peaceful. The location for me was fantastic because I like the area around - Sans Severin. Handy for the G line and grocery shops, bars, et cetera. Of course people make the place and Bruno and Patrick made me feel very welcome. It’s a ‘real home from home ‘although I wish my Home were as nice
