We were worried about the location while driving in but parking secure & worry free. Location wise you are out of town but a 25 minute tram ride away from the centre. There are 2 tram stops a few minutes walk away. 3€30 gets you a return journey so it’s perfect. Hotel is clean but dated. Reception staff were a bit nonchalant for our taste but bar staff worked hard….. They had to as seemed to be extremely understaffed which was very frustrating on a Saturday night (2 staff covering the bar & restaurant) this really needs looking at by management as the same thing occurred at breakfast. The food choice was excellent at breakfast but the staff member was extremely busy on her own

Very nice hotel which is perfectly situated for the Palais de Congress trqm stop line C which takes you into Bordeaux and to the large shopping complex nearby. The Parking is secure, the staff are very friendly and the room is large and comfortable. There is a good restaurant on site. Buffet breakfast was good. The hotel is pet friendly.

The ibis was such a convenient stay for our trip. We needed something cheap and easy to find. Ibis had Locked parking as well so we felt safe leaving our roof box on, as we were unsure of how safe it would be in the area. The food was great and the staff were all so lovely and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful also which helped set us up for the long trip ahead the next day. I was a bit worried when I first saw the hotel that it was going to be ‘tooo cheap’ but the beds were clean and comfy with loads of space in the rooms. They even had a hotel cat 😊
