Access to the hotel is via Rue Franklin, and guests using a car must contact the property directly to obtain the necessary access code.Parking : Clemenceau public parking is located 150 metres from the hotel and guests get special discounts in www.grand-hotel-francais.comPlease note that for any reservation of more than 4 rooms, special conditions and different rates may apply.Pets up to 10 kg are welcome for an additional fee of EUR 10 per night (except for service dogs) and for a maximum of 1 pet per room.Special conditions and additional charges may apply for bookings of more than 4 accommodations. A prepayment of 30% of the total cost of the stay will be required at the time of booking.Cancellations and changes can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival. After this period, cancellation charges may apply:- between 30 and 15 days before arrival, you may cancel 50% of the nights booked free of charge. The remaining nights will be charged in full.
- between 15 and 7 days prior to arrival, 70% of the nights booked may be cancelled free of charge. The remaining nights will be charged in full.
- 7 days prior to arrival, you will not be able to change or cancel your booking and all nights will be charged.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Good location. Good staff, helpful. Renovation in the lobby is in good taste but the rooms are a disappointment. Plastic, IKEA style. Not very comfortable. Maintenance a disaster. Shower, lamps, door cards, all present deficiencies. The agressive white light turns the room into a hospital room. The old hotel was much nicer and good taste. Mosquitos in the room. Very annoying. Breakfast is OK. Staff is helpful.

We had a large room and had requested a shower and the bathroom had a large walk in shower and a separate toilet which is always nice . The staff were very friendly and the room while a little dated in decor had lots of storage .The rooms were kept very clean .

Good hotel with excellent location. However, our room was aged and needed renovation. The furniture was very simple and charmless, contrasting with the lobby and stairs. Attentive staff, especially Camille, always available for restaurant, shopping and tour recommendations.

Very handy location on a very quiet street and all the rooms are soundproofed. Near to tram stops (Gambetta and Hotel de Ville). Staff very nice and helpful and speak good English. Chose the hotel because it is near to the car hire place, but the tram service is excellent so we didn't really need to consider staying in a hotel nearby.

The breakfast is fresh and varied with a variety of local products. The room was spacious and quiet. The location is central to all the attractions of beautiful Bordeaux.
