Having read almost ALL other reviews before we booked, we think a lot of people are projecting 5-star expectations on this 3-star accommodation. In reality... The staff were awesome - kind and helpful, from the cleaners to the receptionists to the restaurant and bar staff. The restaurant was delicious and fairly priced in comparison with other options on the island. Breakfast was good to great, but since it was inclusive with the price of the accom, we rate it as great. Excellent location, close to a store and other eateries. Rental bikes, rental kayaks, and Snorkel gear on-site. The lady from the resort who helps you book tours and bikes etc is very helpful - she takes her time, and no ask is too much. The beach across the road is an extremely easy walk across from the rooms - and for that short walk you get a private, not-very-populated beach as well as the accommodation restaurant, pool, snooker tables and ping pong. The beach is picturesque, tidy. Tje rooms - perfectly clean, cool, nothing alive inside except for you (i.e. NO Mosquitos, Lizards). What more could you ask for, really? We'll happily return. Mauruuru roa ki a koutou no te Royal Bora Bora.

The hotel is Polynesian owned and as such it’s very friendly and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is stunning with amazing gardens.

Not to big, not to small Resort, with a nice Beach on the front, delicious Breakfast Buffet and also possibility to have lunch and diner, nice and friendly staff, located a bit outside from Matira Beach ( 20min walking distance ) but easy to walk and many restaurants as well around....spacious room with comfortable bed

This is literally the best place I have ever stayed in, in my life. Everyone is so extremely kind and welcoming, saying hello and wanting to help with whatever is needed. The room is big and clean, the airco works great, the WiFi works great. Huge big and comfy bed. Perfect private beach with comfy beds and umbrellas. Great pool if you want to do some laps but I walk 10 minutes to Matira beach, the most beautiful beach/lagoon in the world and swim there. There is a supermarket nearby and the hotel has great food as well! I’m vegetarian but there are options and they are great, lots of veggies filled in a panini for instance. I have stayed in an over water bungalow once as well but this is just as good for 10 times less the price. Here you have everything you need and paradise is right here. Plus you get the culture and local experience by being on the main island and saying; la’orana! To everyone.
