Room was comfortable, bed v comfortable. Shower (in bath) was powerful and plenty hot water - however as in bath shower (not fully enclosed) getting water on tiled floor required care. Rooms not totally sound-proof as to be expected noting age of property - maybe new/ better fitted doors would help cut down some noise transfer and also reduce stray light into the room. Self-serve coffee/ tea at breakfast and also continental breakfast option would be an improvement that could be easily made.

The staff were friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic with lots of choice. We usually like to try eating at other places but as the food was so good we ate there every night. Location was perfect for exploring Eskdale/Western Lakes.

FANTASTIC service breakfast, dinner bar EVERYWHERE....Emma who served Breakfast and I noticed cleaned the rooms too, is a REAL asset...LOVELY young lady, pleasant and very helpful...as was EVERYONE...pleasure to stay and we'll be back...FANTASTIC food...
