We had an enjoyable stay at the Marriot, Bonn. Our room was clean and stylish with a view of the Rhine. The staff was helpful and efficient. The downstairs fitness area and swimming pool were both well-equipped.

The room was very comfortable with quite a big bathroom. For us the beds were excellent. It was quiet and the view from ninth floor was very nice. The staff was very competent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good. Excellent coffee! Location was very good with just a few minutes walk to the U-Bahn which take you into the city center in under ten minutes.

We loved the room. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of space. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, there was a lot of variety. Also the spa facilities were really good.

We only stayed one night. Overall everything was fine. We had slippers in the room which was good, but no bathrobe. We could pick them up at the reception though. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, as we had plans for brunching with friends elsewhere. But we also thought 29 euro pp is very steep. We also recommend parking in the parkhouse just right opposite of the Marriott (that one is capped at 15 euro max/day). Rooms are slightly dated and I personally never like rooms with carpets (not hygienic) but thats personal. Price/value is alright as the rooms are fairly spacious. The Marriott has a fairly large fitness and sauna area for a Hotel, however it is also accessible for people with a membership. That can make the wellness area busy. We didnt mind and it was not crazy busy either, but i can imagine other people would. Sauna area was fine and relaxing. (Pool and no textile sauna area are seperated)

Breakfast spread is very good and break fast starts early, which was good for early riser like me. I had a beautiful river view room with also spectacular sun rises. I recommend that those who stay here, opt for this option. Even if you spend 20 dollars extra, it is worth it. The hotel is close to the Rhine and there is a long river side walk path for kilometers either side.

The location was close to bus stop, parking was available under the hotel but a bit pricey. The room was big enough and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were also very polite and they helped with arranging the river view room upon our request.
