Really made to feel at home, the breakfast food supplied was exceptional, we have never seen such a well set up kitchen for guests. Robert welcomed us, showed us where we were staying, and happily left us to enjoy our stay. What a great host.

Everything was fantastic. We got the Kiwi Cabin, which I think is the best unit in the property. I wake up to the cow and goats munching in the paddock. Location was easy to find even in the dark evening. The pantry is well stocked for a hearty breakfast. Milk, eggs, assortment of cereals, coffee and much more. The bed is comfortable and entire is clean. Will highly recommend if you plan a farm stay.

Fully equipped kitchen with more than sufficient options for breakfast. Very good quality provisions and more than enough to eat. The room was a good size and the bathroom excellent. Its an older property but is well maintained and scrupulously clean. Linen and towels were all fine. Very quiet and private location and only 35 - 40 mins from Auckland airport so very convenient for a first night’s stay in-country. Check-in instructions from the owners were very clear and sent in a timely way.

Our stay exceeded our expectations...the lodge was perfect in every way. New, modern, extremely clean and well presented. Very private and with a beautiful view. The breakfast items provided in the fridge were a welcome and very appreciated touch. Thank you so much for having us :o)

This was one of the best properties I’ve stayed in. It felt so homely and they had thought of everything. My bed was extremely comfy which was great having just got off a long flight and the location was really restful. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh eggs from the chickens and delicious yoghurt and toppings. The addition of being able to use the hot tub was the cherry on top! There are few places I’ve stayed in where I have been genuinely wowed by the attention to detail and I would recommend this to everyone.
