A proper pub with great ales in a lovely location with everything we needed for a night's stay. Clean and comfortable bed, adequate shower room, tv and tea/coffee. The Sunday roast was fantastic too.

Clean, tidy, staff were really friendly, was not rushed to check out, pity about breakfast only on weekends, we didn't let that stop us All in all very enjoyable

Just up the road is the open moorland on which you can take good walks and exercise your dog...perfect. The team were extremely customer focused trying hard to ensure all expectations were met. The lady who manages all this is clearly well experienced, leads by hard work and setting an example which is a very high standard for her team to follow. She is to be congratulated on their success. My steak in the evening was accurately cooked, tender and flavoursome.

Perfectly cozy! Staff incredibly welcoming! I’ve stayed a few times and always felt at home! The rooms are gorgeous and the food is epic!!! Will be going back!

We werent sure what to expect having read some less than average reviews - what we got was friendly staff, good pub food & a more than adequate breakfast. The room was cosy however, comfortable & clean. It was good value for the price!

The Staff, went above and beyond to accommodate all our wishes. My Mums 80th Birthday would not have been a brilliant as it was without their help.
