The fine print
Charge per dog per night is GBP 15.00.We have two onsite restaurants. The Brasserie (open daily) and The Garden Room (Wednesday to Saturday evenings). Please note that lunch and dinner prices are starting prices and not included in packages.Please note that children under the age of 14 are not eligible to use the Spa or gym facilities.Please note that children under the age of 16 are not eligible to use the Spa or gym facilities. Spa access must be pre booked and is a 1 hour slot per room, per day.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The check in was smooth and the receptionist gave us a tour of the hotel, possibly because there was no-one else waiting. The room was clean and warm with an extremely comfortable bed. I also liked the large oil painting of Wharfedale on the bedroom wall. Breakfast was table service and the food was excellent. We also dined in the Brasserie one evening, where we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The spa was an enjoyable experience. We didn't book any treatments, so I can' comment on those. Another pleasure was sitting in the lounge in front of the log fire, looking out at the snow. Last but certainly not least, every member of staff that we had contact with was pleasant, informative and helpful.

The grounds were lovely and we really enjoyed the open fires and places to relax around the hotel. Very good breakfast!
